Cashless from the first top-up to the automatic settlement after the event.
Expo Pay is a cashless payment platform for fairs, festivals and markets. Visitors top up an event balance – a digital wallet tied to that specific event – and pay exhibitors cashlessly in the app. Couponix AB is the technical provider that enables payments and the platform. When the event ends there is a settlement, and visitors’ unused balances are refunded automatically.
Step by step
1. The visitor registers with a mobile number, downloads Expo Pay and tops up a balance with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swish or PayPal.
2. The exhibitor takes payment in Xhibitor by having the visitor scan a QR code – fast, with no card terminal.
3. The organiser follows everything live in the Dashboard – sales, payments, tickets and safety.
4. After the event the settlement runs automatically: exhibitors and organiser receive their settlement reports and visitors’ unused balances are refunded.
